Berryman Real Estate is a family-based boutique company that has stood the test of time through three generations.

Our company was established in 1951 by David Berryman, who was a pioneer and entrepreneur of his time.

David Berryman built his first office in 1954 at 3093 Great North Road, New Lynn and held one of the first TAB agency in New Zealand as well as the Real Estate agency, travel agency and an insurance agency. The company was shifted to 3049 Great North Road, New Lynn in 1972.

David was on a mission determined to provide quality service and a hands on approach to Realty. We believe we have achieved his goals, and are delighted to be a one stop shop for all of your real estate needs.

Bevin Berryman has been in the real estate industry for more than 20 years, starting back when he was just 17 years of age. At that time he was one of the youngest salespeople to hold a certificate.

Bevin provides ample experience in both Property Management and Residential Sales.

Achieving the best possible price for his clients’ has always been his objective. He is a honest, hard-working and a strong negotiator with integrity.

Bevin holds Agent status. The highest qualification under the REA 2008 as per the Real Estate Authority — The Government Controlling Body for Real Estate Agents New Zealand.

Graeme Berryman commenced employment with David Berryman in 1966 as a Real Estate Sales Person. In 1969 he completed and qualified as a Real Estate Agent Licensee. At the time the youngest ever to pass the exam in New Zealand. 1979 qualified as a Property Valuer with the New Zealand institute of Valuers. 1984 registered as a Property Valuer.

Graeme has been involved in real estate since the age of 17. He has well over 50 years experience in the industry.

Graeme specialises in Commercial sales, leasing and valuations. Graeme is a registered valuer and also worked for many years selling residential real estate.

David embarked on a career in Corporate Finance within the Advertising and Media industry holding senior management roles in New Zealand with DDB, in Australia with OMD and in the Asia Pacific region with Omnicom Media Group based at the Singapore Headquarters.

Having returned to Auckland with his family, David followed his passion for property and completed a Certificate in Real Estate at Unitec before joining Ray White and then most recently, joined David Berryman Limited. David’s extensive business experience including managing commercial leasing across 14 countries throughout Asia Pacific coupled with local property investment and Real Estate Industry training will undoubtedly assist you with your Real Estate requirements.

We have just completed the redevelopment of our property at Lansford Crescent, Avondale. The project consisted of substantial additions to, and subdivision of, an existing large factory. Graeme Berryman was involved from day one in marketing of the property, and in an advisory capacity of how best to dispose of what was a building with a very limited appeal. Our final requirement was to lease or sell all six devoloped units with a retail value of over $3m. Berryman Real Estate Ltd, have to date sold or leased 84% of the development.
